YES! My dreams have come true! The planet earth series popularized by the Discovery channel is now on DVD. I saw it at union station somewhere in KS city. At least i think it was in KS city. you lose track of where you are when you are on a bus. Anyway, i saw it in the Discovery channel store. I WAS going to buy it, untill the pricetag hit me like a sack of bricks. $80...dang. Oh well. Ill wait untill it shows up on EBAY.

considering it took 5 years to make this less than a dozen hour series, I think that's a fair price to ask. I'll order it when I get some full time paychecks this summer. I love it too!

That series alone makes me want to be a wildlife photographer so i can go and see as much of this world as possible. Not to mention getting paid for it =P

Yeah, I am definitely on the hunt for a career that will take me into the natural world as much as possible, its too awesome to pass up!
