Aqueon Water Changer question

I own an aqueon water changer. It works quite well for me.
Is there any suggestion on length of the hose? Should I mimimize the length? I am only about 15ft to the sink and was wondering if less hose makes siphoning more efficient?

I'm not sure what water changer you have but it sounds like it is a type of Python. If it is working for you I wouldn't bother doing anything with the length of the hose.
