View Full Version : Can you help me identify these?

Hey guys I have 3 of these little fish, about 2cm long, they glow more golden orange than in this photo when the light is on them. What are they? The information was pretty poor from pet shop, they were a tank with the weather loaches. I have them in with 2 very small ryukins and 2 orange snails. They seem to be OK, but I was interested, they grow, will they breed etc?
The name label said golden wem (I think - not well written!!) but I can't find any info...

It looks like a stressed out white cloud mountain minnow.

They do have a "golden" variety of the white cloud minnow.

It would make sense if that is what it was as well ... the tag being Golden WCM (instead of wem).

That was my guess as well. I had them before in a tank, they're nice but I pefer the normal color version.
