Last night I dreamt I had a 600 gallon tank in my living room. There is a space in the wall that such a tank (custom built) would fit perfectly into.
It was such a gorgeous sight...
...then I woke up, and cursed myself, due to my plans to tear down this house within a few years, making such a dream hopeless!

We own pretty much the only double-plot of land in the area.
So, the town is more than willing to let us tear down our current house (which is right on the line of where the plot should have been divided when the town zoned things out) and let us build a house on each side.
One of these houses would be then sold to cover debt (student loans, etc) and the other sold to finance the building of a third house on a much cheaper plot not that far from here, but outside the town limits so we can do whatever the duck we want with it.
And no, this isn't the first time we've done this, so it's not just DIY noobs tearing down houses with big dreams. :hmm3grin2orange:
My family has built three temporary houses, two full sized (two floors + basement) houses, a garage, multiple greenhouses, not to mention boats and cars (though the cars have nothing to do with carpentry, I'll admit.)
None of them have fallen apart yet!
The oldest is about 25 I think. =)

Nice nice. When you sell the house, make a custom tank! You know you want to. We only live once right? Endulge in your fantasy:18: :hmm3grin2orange:

lol... I've had dreams like that....
My favorite is when I turned my 100'x100'x10' basement (my house is much larger in my dreams...) into a tank. I had every fish you could think of and the best part was I could put on my scuba gear and swim with them!!! :hmm3grin2orange:

Hehe. Aye, Jackson.
Once things are more permanently in place I'll start on the dreams.
Which include, but are not limited to, a 500 gallon Amazon Catfish & Altifrons Cichlid tank, a tank with a single Hemibagrus catfish, and a 2.5x2.5 metre indoor "pond" full of peaceful catfish and large (harmless) invertebrates.

To Jaster: Haha, aye I've had that dream before. Except in mine the floor slanted down, so I could actually walk right in. :hmm3grin2orange:
