View Full Version : 180 gallon tank
In just the initial planning phases for the 180 tank. Will be oscars/dempseys/green terrors (if I can find them) and a pleco. My question is, do you think 2 large common plecos would be alright together in a tank of this size?
I don't know about 2...again, because of the footprint of the tank...but one will be fine...
...just be aware that they are huge waste producers as the mature...and not particularily good cleaner-uppers in many cases...
That is what I am finding. We have 2, one each in our 55 gallon tanks, but I want to move them to larger tanks as we expand. We got them back when we didn't know much about fish keeping. Now here we are!
This is a great excuse to upgrade to TWO 180s...
