this is loucious my betta (loo-shous). i know the pics are not that great but look at the difference in my bettas posture and color (brighter) one day after i moved him from a flask to a 5g heated planted tank. and he's a TON more active!:thumb:
he should be the poster child for anyone who thinks it doesn't make a difference!

My bettas in a 2g, and previously was in the cup of death at the store. He has java moss, and a filter. I have NEVER changed the water, and the nitrate/ite/ammonia are 100% always 0. His color went 500% brighter, and he has the longest fins ive seen on a betta.

Hes pretty funny too. He likes to sleep by burying himself in the middle of the moss. Dunno why, but i guess he likes his matress

Great job, ren. Just because they are bettas does not mean they don't deserve the proper treatment!

Wow, he looks JUST like my betta. Same colors.
Mine is so much happier in the bigger tank too... but the fins are still all curled up and it's getting more and more each day, I have to figure out what that is.
Congrats on the nice job.
