I was doin a water change a little earlier an noticed one of my platy's had about 4-5 babies. They're about an eighth of an inch an I thought it was awesome there were babies in my tank. My question is, do I need to do anything for them, or are they just going to get eaten by the other fish? I currently feed flake food daily and TetraMin Tropical Tablets every 2-3 days. Should that be good for them?

Put a small amout of flake in a plastic bag and crush to a powder, fry will eat that.

Crack, that's what I do for my fancy guppies. Works great.

I am pretty sure that you don't have a lot of really really good hiding places in your tank, most of the fry will end up becoming lunch.

Correct, unless you keep everybody very well fed. But hiding places are best.

There's actually a good piece of driftwood in there that I've noticed they've all been hiding under. Hopefully they make it, they're fun to watch.

you could try catching them and put into a breeding net/trap, till they are bigger, feed crushed flakes and they will come to surface to eat. maybe add a few plants in the net to make them feel safer. or add more hiding places in your tank, they often find something to eat in the tank. if the females still in there, she will drop in another 28days, even with the male being removed. she stores sperm. if these dont make it, you will have more soon. if your keeping the adults well fed, make sure they eat it, and not letting it rot in tank.
