Further to my expressed hopes a few weeks ago of getting a larger tank for free from my sister-in-law, these hopes have now gone. Not of getting a larger tank, as we'll get our piggy banks out of mothballs and start saving for one!--but of getting a freebie! The sister-in-law rang this evening and we asked if she would measure the tanks (there are 3 ) and she came back with the largest being only 3ft in length! Only 5 inches longer than ours in use at present! The only positive aspect is that it could be used as a quarantine tank
AFTER we've bought the larger tank & more fish.
Getting the big tank is a priority re our finances & should be a possibility,if not a probability,by the end of next month.
