Dunno what the fuss is about clowns...dojos are awesome.
This one does this for about 2 hours every day. Sometimes all 3 of them will do it. Almost pooped myself first time I saw it..thought he was dead...

oh and its not a swim bladder thing, there is just a really strong current in that corner from the sump.

Bad news, turns out its not normal, he is now unable to sit at the bottom. The others still play in the current, but this one is definitly having problems. Noticed him laying upside down at the top of the tank motionless a few times today....
buh.
Gonna try some peas and look into antibiotics.
*edit- And then he makes a liar out of me and lays with the others no problem.
The antics of a loach are not helpful when I am fighting another outbreak of NTD...lol

That's freakin' weird . It would be pretty comical if it weren't so worrisome . Any updates ? I'm wondering if he's returned to normal or if he's developed additional symptoms that might point toward illness .

No, it's not normal. Apparently a swim bladder problem.

Really?
Well, a few weeks later and the occurrences of it have pretty much stopped. That one has taken to laying on the pleco's head as of late, and no matter how much I try, will not let me leave a coconut shell sitting the right way. Just HAS to flip them over as soon as I put them right side up.
Dojo's are weird.

I disagree, I had dojos do it all the time, and CLs do it too. Make sure he is eating good color and hell be fine.
