Those are some amazing tanks! I'll have to keep my husband way from that site or he'll be drooling all over the key board!

As many on the planted tank commented...not a speak of algae....I want to know the secret as our entire tank is being covered in it!

Thanks for sharing!

With all the right equipment, it's easier to deal with algae, but they also just have more experience balancing nutrients. That and they probably spend an inordinate amount of time maintaining those show tanks. After all, ADA is like, the Ferrari of the planted tank world. They have a reputation to maintain ;) Spot of algae = someone gets fired, lol.

The thin needle-like ones at the bottom? Dwarf hairgrass.

The thin needle-like grassy plant is dwarf hairgrass. Microswords are the broader leaved groundcover. Which tank are you refering to?

The stuff in the back is called giant hairgrass or something (go figure, lol) The stuff in the middle/mixed in with the other ground cover is dwarf hairgrass. The stuff in the front is...well, it's hard to tell, but I think it's riccia (hence the bubbles) Could also be glosso or pearlgrass. Not sure.
