Interesting background, where'd ya get it?

Oh it was at one of the local fish stores... I'm probably going to go with black as soon as I can get some.

I redid the tank again just after that photo... LOL I think I'm going to keep it like this for a while. I like the opened area in the middle (excluding that little piece of drift wood.

I really like the tank redesign but to my eyes that background takes away from the fish. I found myself checking it out instead of the fish I think black would turn that tank into something really incredible.

The tanks look good. I do not care for the first background it is to busy for me. I like a solid color scheme on the back grounds.

I like the darker look as well!
The tank does look great in the second pic!

Where are all the holes?:14:

Wish I'd have gone to the fish store to gat a black background....maybe I can find something around the house to use.

As for holes for them to hide in, they still have PLENTY of holes. I didn't reduce the quantity of rocks, just moved them.

OH LOL....I'm such a boob! The holes are still there. I regret having put the holes on the sids, but I kind of like them on the top (though I wish I took more time to place them a little uniformily) because they create a nice ambient light behind the tank.
