I think I might have it...serves me right I suppose...I've been hanging out in any fish tank I could (not just my own)...

Anyone else have it? And if so...what did you do to stop the itch?

I get that if I work at the LFS for 2 days in a row, just use handcream, it helps n 2 ways;

1. it stops the itch
2. You can't put your hands in the water with it on so you keep it dry!

I'm trying some cortisone cream the pharmacist showed me...

..so far...

...no difference...

It doesn't help that it looks contagious...LOL...

Always was you hands (and arms) with anti-bacterial soap. I find that helps. Stay away from the steroid creams, just zinc oxide (baby butt cream). I have stupidly sensitive skin, I swear I can tell when the ammonia and nitrates start to build up in my tank just by putting my arm in.

That actually kinda cool! That way if you have an ammonia spike, you'll know so your fish won't suffer!

LOL...yeah! You're your own dipstick! thumbs2:

...but the antibacterial idea might work...that I can try...

...I could also pick up some Zincofax...used to have it around when the kids were little...but don't anymore...thankfully they all finally potty-trained...:thumb:
