Hey everybody. This is my first time here. I just got a 55 gallon and will be setting up a planted community aquarium as soon as i have everything I need. I'm sure I will be asking for lots of advice in the near future. Thanks for a great site!

The more converts I can obtain for the planted tank god, the more favor I shall recieve. (ie less algae/more growth)

The planted tank god has already won me over as my girlfriend can tell you. She is becoming quite jealous of the planted tank god.

Welcome...my wife and I were also overtaken by the planted tank, though I'm not sure we're making the right sacrifices to the planted tank god :P

The AC is full of many great resources including the free E-book, and Chronas plant guide/suggestions/hints, which can be found in the planted tank area! Happy sacrificing :ezpi_wink1:

Its going to be a while before i get things going. Im saving a little money at a time. Next on the list is lights. Geeeez they are expensive. This is the last week of classes (i should be studying) so i will be able to work full time which means more money. And its all going towards the aquarium thumbs2:

When I start putting it together i am going to keep a photo journal. Don't worry there will be plenty of pics.
