So I've had this guy for a week, he seems to be much more active and un-afraid than my old one. He's some sort of nifty albino strain that's more durable and healthy. The fish people said it was a 'perfected' albino strain, I was mostly interested in that he was healthy. That said, he is a nifty orangey color.

nice, I haven't had any problems with the group that I have.
They too were sold as "orange ABN", but I've never heard anything about them being stronger, they might be, but I felt the "orange" name was just a gimmick

He was $13.99, which was a little much, but I figured the rarer strain was worth it. BN's are normally 8-9 on Long Island. Not a huge difference.

That's just your price NG. She charges everyone else $10. :ezpi_wink1:

"Perfected albino strain?" Sounds like someone may have outcrossed some too-long inbred fish with fresh blood. I'm working on the same thing with some super red BN stock from Germany.
