Thought I might share a little interchange before the boyfriend and I just now. Earlier in the evening, I completely replanted my tank, and amongst other things, there are two banana plants in there.
Me: So, there's a little circle of life thing going on in the aquarium.
He: Oh?
Me: Yeah. The banana plant in front, that had no rootlets when I got it mind you, has already grown a white root thing and stuck it in the sand. And the snail is on the banana plant, going nom-nom. And Sid is circling the snail, wishing he could go nom-nom.
He: That banana plant must be important.
Me: Moo?
He: Yeah, well, lots of stuff going on around it. It's important.
