Question about a used 55gal tank

Hello, I'm new here and looking at setting up a 55gal freshwater tank.

My girlfriend purchased a used tank and supplies off someone. The plastic framing on the bottom of one end of the tank is damaged and coming off, the people that sold it to us used tape and superglue to attempt to keep the plastic together.

Is this something to worry about with this tank?

very carefully check all the silicone edging of all the glass. if all is well and there are no cracks, then I would say get some GE industrial silicone to put that plastic back together. But before you start assembling everything inside, fill it up outside (making sure its level!) to make sure there are no leaks or cracks that you cant see.
