A friend of ours has been raising cuttlefish from eggs for the past few months. Last night we went over to his house to see them. He has 4 of them in a 5 gallon, very low flow tank and they are around 2 inches in length. He's been feeding them live mysis, large live pods (sp?) caught from the local tide pool, and baby mollys. They grow to around 4 inches and live around a year before breeding and dieing. We were lucky enough to see them eat and get it on video and it was pretty neat. Here are 3 videos, the 1st 2 we took and the last he took after we left. Enjoy:ssmile:

Sweet!! I would love to keep a cuttlefish! Their ability to change colors is amazing to say the least.

From what I've learned from him, the most difficult part is getting them to eat initially. They will only eat live food at first. He lost a few at the start but 4 survived and now there at the point to where they will eat frozen food, but its just more fun to feed them live, lol and its free from the tide pool
