So I have a 40 gallon long tank that I just changed over from sand to fluorite. Current stocking is 3 yoyo loaches at about 4" each, a single snakeskin gourami also at about 4", 5 flame tetras, and 2 swordtails. Filtration is via dual AC 70s and water changes are 40-50% weekly. I am in the process of planting it now.

I am thinking another school of tetras of some kind but I'm just wondering what everyone else thought about complimentary fish? Going to That Pet Place on Friday so want to be equipped with some good ideas!

How about a school of silver tip tetras.
Great looking fish.[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

I also think Harlequins would look good.

I am thinking bleeding hearts or congos, something a little bigger.

What about Serpae Tetras, I have them in my tank and I love the way they look.

Great suggestions, all.

The reason I'm asking for help narrowing it down is for the folks who know about That Pet Place. They have row upon row of tanks full of fish I want to keep. I can spend literally a few hours in there just looking!
