Yes, the topic title sounds a bit grandiose.

Twelve hours ago, I saw both my nerite snails, and both red cherry shrimp.

Now, I cannot find them at all :sconfused:

I first suspected Sid, but he (or anyone else) doesn't have the poochy belly that goes along with them gorging.

Searched all around the tank, nothing there.

Next step is to check the filter.

Well, even though there's a guard on the filter, I checked it. Nothing in there other than what is supposed to be.

I then snagged a flashlight and got all sorts of yoga-fied trying to angle it up into the cave crevices.

I did find the smaller nerite snail and one of the shrimp. The snail has since scooted outside and around the cave. As there are a couple other inside crevices in the cave it was ... difficult ... to get the light to shine into, I'll assume the other MIA critters are there. Little bastages :hmm3grin2orange:

My snails are usually pretty easy to spot-they prefer hanging on the sides of the tank. Generally, so long as I see my shrimp every couple of days I try not to worry, because spotting them in all the plants and cover in the tank is an exercise in agita.
