Nope, completely different.

The Trinidads can get almost a foot long. Bristlenose are much smaller, more like 7 inches or so.

i was told 4-5" for bristle nosed.

That small? There are different types of bristenose, so maybe there are some that are smaller/larger than others.

Well they told me this was a Briselnose Pleco and it is about 4" now. I asked will this Pleco get like 2 feet and they told me yes over time.

Not if its a bristlenose. I challenge that person to find any site that has reports on bristlenose plecos that large.

I don't thing the person that helped me really meant 2 feet, but he meant it will get bigger. How big is the question?

If you do your homework on bristlenose plecos you'll see that the largest size is around 8 inches. Just do a google on it and you'll see that information.
