Ok, I've been trying to follow the advice on the forum about taking/getting better pictures and I think I'm getting a little bit better at it, but I wouldn't mind a second (or third, fourth, etc) opinion. Here are a couple I took about 10 minutes ago.

Let me know what you think.

I would loose the flash and increase the overhead lighting on the tank and see what your results are. Still nice pics tho :11:

You would get better pics if your tanks were painted black on the back or you used a dark back ground of some sort. Great shots though :ssmile:

I'm actually working on getting that done this weekend. I was going to hop over to my LFS and see what kind of backgrounds they have and how much. Course if I don't see anything I like I think I'll jump over to Lowe's and pick up some paint, however it would be easier to install a background as opposed to paint one since my tank is already in place.

Yup! Very good! The black background will help too!

Another cheaper way to do the background would be to get black poster board. I prefer to spraypaint mine black though. But that requires a tear down and front porch covered in newspaper lol

Wow, if you don`t think your pics are good, take a look at mine

My 7 year old camera just can`t get good pics. Even after I`ve tried all of the suggestions in the photo forum

You`ve got some nice pics and some nice fish there !!!

Hey, from what I can see (I'm on my cell phone with a tiny display) your pictures are great! You will continue to improve as you play around with the settings! But like I said, from what I can see on my phone....your photos are lovely!!
