my male blue gouramu is tiranning on female!?

My cuple of blue guramies is not happy.I have thay few days and i m dessapointed of behavior male fish.From today I must to separate female gourami in other bottle,and they are together in big thank.(gallons 40).Please to help me because I planing to mite them.But now situations is bad.My other fish is good,and wellth. :help:

You are probably already sure, but just to ask the question, are you positive that you have one female and one male. Because if both are male they get territorial and one will probably bully the other.

Don't take the LFS (local fish store) peoples word that one is male and one is female. make sure you check for yourself.

Not unusual behavior for three spot gouramis, your male just may be onery. Another female may help the situation. Do you have photos so we can help sex them for you.
