Hello got a question about fluorescent to use in aquarium,
my tank is 70cm x 30cm depth x 40cm high about 70Litters
i need to replace the original fluorescent and it is of standart size since its a ready build aquarium. (Juwel)
The specs of the new one i have in hand now is:
F18W/54-765
Daylight 950Lm
TS 183
9000h
Is this ok to be used to my planted aquarium?

It says "Daylight" so I'd assume so as that should be in the neighborhood of 6500k but I can't say for sure. Is the light it puts out a bright white or is it yellowish or greenish? If it's bright white then it's probably good.

Sounds like a 20g long tank. The problem you might have with that bulb, is it is only 18w. That'll give you less than 1 watt per gallon, which is very low light. Will limit you as to what plants you can keep alive or ones that will thrive in that light. The light fixture ballast probably can't handle a higher wattage, so you'd have to get another light fixture if you wanted to get more wattage. If you did 2-3 watts per gallon, it would open up more options for plants.
