Bubbles on surface

In my aquariums a layer of bubbles accumulate on the surface of the water. Is this something to be concerned about? When I open the tank hood they begin to disperse, only to reappear a short time later. My 55 gallon has a bio wheel filter rated for a 75 gallon tank, could this be producing to much oxygen? I test my water everyday and the readings are within the acceptable limits.

If all other are ok I wouldn't worry about it. Have had similar bubbles from time to time in my tanks and have never had any problems.

I figured out the bubble problem, my water levels were too low. I did a water change this weekend and filled the aquarium higher than normal and the bubbles are gone. Just FYI.
