I really have no idea what kind of plant this is. It's really pretty (and they sold it to me cheap) so I bought it anyway. The two plants are connected to each other by a thick stem thing. I have them floating because they were like at the store and I don't how I'd plant something like that anyway.

I just wanna know what they're called and if I need to taking care of them any differently. Thanks guys!

Its an ozelot sword. No different needs then any other sword.More light means more red.Plant them with the roots in the substrate but first trim the roots to about 2 inches.Remove the stem that connects the 2 plant them about a foot apart just deeply enough that the roots are covered but not the base of the stalks.Use fert tabs at the bases as they are heavy roots feeders and wont do well without it.

Awesome. Will they grow tall or outwards-ish?

They have more of a compact growth then other swords. It will spread about 12" and be about 12" tall as well if kept in good light. If the light is lacking they tend to get taller and rangier looking.

Sounds kinda big for my 10 gallon but I'll see how it goes. I can always move them. Thank you
