Im going to look into getting a custom tank built

150cmLong
90cm High
60cm deep

I wish to put several species of predatory fish and an oscar

Can anyone give me some species to put in it with or without the oscar

Tank copacity should be roughly 228gallons or 864litres

Green Terrors are beautiful fish and I have herd can go with Oscars but they need a lot of room. I had one in my 90 Gallon with my oscar and they fought all the time but that was because it was to small of a tank for 2 large fish.

Another fish that can go well with an oscar......another OSCAR! You can never have to many oscars and they are awesome in pairs. If you get 2 to pair up it is so much fun to watch them swim. Before Lucky and Bubba died they used to swim together and copy eachothers movements. Follow eachother around and take turns in the bubbler. It was so awesome to watch them....man I miss those guys...:(

Anyway, sounds awesome! You have to show us pictures when you get it going!

The Oscar gurus recommend 1 Oscar or 6...2 Oscars often don't work out...

...since most can't manage a tank big enough for 6 Oscars...they opt for one...

Have a look at my strange mix if you want an idea of what is possible with oscars. Not saying my mix will go in every tank but its working for me!

fluval XS2 or XS4 canister is good. For predatory fish, the oscar, a clown knife (REALLY like mine), and maybe you could try a ID shark
