I just had to post that. Stupid as it was but I was soooo excited. Plants are greening up nicely......just ugly.

I poured the fluorite water on my house plants and I bet I got 20 new leaves on my peace lily.

As soon as kenyth posted what my problem was, I've had two bubblers going in that tank with 0 problems. I know now that the tube too long was what gave me my mess the first two times, as well. So glad THAT'S behind me!

Oh the fun's just getting started :)

I didn't end up throwing everything out. Gonna try bleaching the plants and Flourite this weekend. Maybe it'll work out ;)

The bleach pretty much wrecked the Amazon Swords. Didn't kill them but destroyed the leaves. Why not just medicate the whole tank?

No meds available for fish TB, at least that can be dosed to a whole tank :(

Welllllllll, can you poor some bleach in the tank, then, and let it filters for a couple of days and then do a water change and add xtra dechlorinator? The solution of bleach I used to clean the goo off my plants was too strong but maybe less would be ok?
