I just noticed my dwarf gourami died. I knew it was going to happen soon. He looked horrible, somthing was causing MAJOR blisters/open sores all over his body and he stopped eating a few days ago. There was nothing I could have done, my quarntine aquarium was full of fish that I had bought and I couldn't put my dwarf gourami in there. I don't know, I guess im just venting....

The more I think about it the sadder I get. I have never really been this sad over the loss of a fish. It was just he was always right there. When I would feed my fish I would put extra pellets in the corner where he was and everytime I walked up to the tank he would always swim up to the front of the glass.......:scry: :scry: :scry: :scry:

Gouramis, as well as most other fish, are very personable, and we get attached to fish very fast...I know how you feel. I once had a pacu and he was a pain, but when he died I was heartbroken. We all lose fish, I'm very sorry... :scry:

Sorry to hear about that. I know how you feel, as I lost a Dwarf Gourami with a lot of personality myself a few weeks ago.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard when you feel helpless like that. My most favorite fish ever was a gourami, because I loved the way he would come over to the glass and "touch" my finger with those little feeler things. So much personality :shappy:
