Could anyone please help me and explain to me how I could tell if my guppies are going toive birth or not? They area acting strange they r hanging at the top of the tank and in the corner. their tails are down and just acting sluggish. all theother fish are hanging around them too. they do come out to eat when its feeding time but most of the time they hang in th ecorners. what does this mean and what r the signs?

What is your current setup? Have you done any water changes? Any idea on the oxygen level in the tank?
The best way to tell if they are pregnant is their belly looks bigger. Do you know how to tell the differance between male and female guppies?
"Male Guppies are slimmer and more colorful than females. A pregnant female Guppies has a dark spot on the rear part of her abdomen. This spot is called a gravid spot.
A male Guppy has a modified fin called a gonopodium that a female does not have"
Post back and we will help you out the best we can :22:

Do all of your guppies hang out at the top of the tank and show similar symptoms of what you mentioned above?

my last w/c was a week ago and it was about 75 % I've tested my water and everything was good. I did lose one of my very prego female guppies out of the blue no signs of any distress of sickness just died. I was shocked. My other big female still hangs out at the top in a corner but she does come out and eat she has no signs of illness that I see. I do have a dalmation mollie that is a bully in the tank and chases everybody but shes been doing that for awhile so thats nothing new. This guppie is one of my original ones that I've had since I've started up my tanks in the beginning. Any more suggestions?
