The small German Shepard puppy is doing very well, is growing well, and is smart and eager to learn. (Not really training him yet due to low age but he still learned a few commands)
The seller did however admit to having lied about its age giving it to us at six weeks and not at 10 which is why it might have seem small in the last pictures. This is the puppy at about 8-9 weeks.

He looks like a great little pup!thumbs2:
I'm sure he will take to training well!I have never thought they were to young to start learning how to make you happy!lol
Ah! That makes more sense now! That first photo you posted sure didn't look like an older puppy!
Can't do much 'serious' training with young dogs. Bladder control may or may not occur until at least 4 months of age. Most professional trainers don't start firmer training until 6 months of age.
In the meantime - it's good if they learn 'NO!', and what's allowed to be chewed and what's not...
Did I miss his name?

I might not have posted his name. It is Kaiser.
He does know "No", he also knows sit and heel and he is starting to get lay down. Training seems to be all that calms him down when he has too much energy.
I also have bladder control. Well atleast enough to go 5-6 hours between toilett breakes. I know because I was forced to leave him home alone one day to take a friends dog to the vet. (not sure if that dog will make it).
Here is a couple of more pics.

His ears are starting to stand and that's great. I've read you're not supposed to mess with their ears once that process starts. Something about the cartilage being soft now.

Actually they used to stand up but have gone down again. But it is said that calm dogs keep their ears down a lot.
Kaiser is a good name! thumbs2:
He has big paws too! Wonder how big he's going to be?
I think Job is going to be a bit smaller than what we were expecting. Not a big deal, he's big enough to rough-house with Celeste even so. He's only 5 months, so another month of major growth left...then it will slow down.

Well I am hoping for him to be a big boy.
