Right now I've in my 29g a Koi Angel, 10 t-bone rasbora, 1 neon platy, (the second one died, but they never schooled, they kept apart) 4 silver dollars and the CAE(whose really well tempered not very aggressive).
Should i leave the tank alone or add someother guys? And if so what?
I do about 45% change every two weeks, and I have an air stone, as well at the filter that came with the tank. :hmm3grin2orange:

First thing is first, your tank is way too small for some of the stock you've already listed, you can get away with the one Angel in a 29G but those 4 Silver Dollars will soon outgrow that tank. They need to be kept in schools of at least 6 or 8 and need quite a large aquarium. They can get to about 8 inches when they're fully grown. So with 5 fish that can get over 6 inches big (including angelfish here) in a 29G you will be struggling to maintain water quality, even if double your maintence.
Really Silver Dollars need a 75Gal+ so personally I would look to be rehoming them into someone who can provide them with a larger tank which they need.
Sorry to sound like a downer here :11:

I'm not actually sure they are silver dollars. They look a lot like the pictures I've seen of them, except they weren't listed as dollars when I got them. As well as the fact that since I've had them they've not grown at all. Which has been almost 5 months. There were listed as Rainbow Gouramis and I know they're not now, at the time I didn't know much about fish, but they look like silver dollars.
I can't get very good pics of them so I did this:

I'm no good at IDing I'm afraid but I'm pretty sure it is a type of Characin and not a gourami :help:

I also think they've been altered as the have color along their backs...green, pink, and blue. (when I first got them I wasn't aware that people were dying fish heh) Also, they were only about 3 bucks a piece, which from what I've been seeing that they usually go 10 each

They are white skirt tetras, you should up the school to at least six. Your CAE gets too big for the tank you have now. Besides they are known to to attack fish like angles. I would up the tetra school.

My CAE is really timid. They hang out right by eachother all the time with no problems. The CAE will hide in my plants, and next to the rock so they never bug one another usually. But I do watch out for him being aggressive towards him.
Thanks though now I wont be so confused on the darn bred

The dyed ones are normally called fruit tetras or mixed fruit tetras.

How big is the CAE? I just saw on at the LFS the other day pushing ten inches.

Silver dollars should be rehomed to a bigger tank.

We discovered that there are in White Skirt Tetras. Not dollars, so no rehoming needed.
