dead platy

hi all , one of my platy died few minutes ago,she was swimming near the surface in the last few days and not eating . This morning she had like whitish things under the skin , it was not itch, plus some blood was visible. near the breast fins and dorsal fin. any idea ?

What are your parameters and water change schedule? I would do a water change, around 30-50%.

Old story here.......Fish die and we buy. Can't do nothing once they're gone except keep plugging along in the hobby and replace those that pass on. There are hundreds of reasons a fish can die just like there are hundreds a human can die.

Sure fish die, but if something is wrong with the tank it is best to fix it. But yes, sometimes they die for what seems like no reason. I would still check the parameters.

I don't think water parameters have nothing to do with this death , it was clear that the fish had sort of internal parasites ,I was just trying to figure out what type , moreover all the other ones were and still are in good form .

Water parameters would still help. What other fish are in the tank? At the least we can help you ensure it is not something preventable.

If you beieve there are parasites in your fish then try feeding a garlic laced food.
You can also feed minced garlic.I mix it with their food and before dropping it in the tank.
