Hi guys,
Sorry, another beginner question.
For the last few days my water has appeared very dusty. Just fine particles floating in it. Nothing terrible, and unnoticeable from a distance, but it's definitely not "polished" as you guys say. I'm running two filters, one is a AC30, so that can't be the problem. Maybe they're set up wrong? How often do you clean the filter media?

Parameters are ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5-10.

Every second week!
You can add some filter floss to your filters,it'll help. You can get it at your lfs.
You can also quilt batting or pillow stuffing, only new!lol
A water change will also help.

Are you sure it's not tiny air bubbles?

Hm--could be air bubbles I guess.

Yes northern guy, I use api treatment that gets rid of chlorine and chloramine.
