For some months now I am the proud owner of those gorgious animals, which a very funny to watch.

Even though they look pretty dangerously, they are absolutely harmless, one can keep them together with smaller fish.

They dont bother plants, dont try to catch fish, their food is plankton which they catch out of the water with those "fans"

Oh yes Lobsters & Co. are very popular here. And real hardliners really spend loads of money to get and keep them.

Yeah, I was at a german site once, Top grade bee were selling for 18 euros there.

Hardly any noise at all. I'd say some sort of DSLR.

in the last pic you can see the streak marks from glass cleaning. that's some high quality pic taking.

Its just a simple Conon Powershot A75

But its training training training and of course sheer luck. I nearly took about 14,000 Pics, and after that time, one or two decent pics come out:laugh1blue:

I alway say its not the camera, its the photographer behind it.

And of course a good model.

Those were good cameras. Just before the megapixel race got out of control and picture quality suffred from it.

I know a professional Animal photographer who always says:

The Pixels arent so important, its a good eye, training and luck.

With todays compact digicams pixels are, unfortunately, important. In order to have an even higher number of megapixels in their cameras noise levels at higher iso are getting worse and worse. But, megapixels sell cameras so there's no end in sight there.

Here is an update...The red Shrimp unfortunately died these days, but as a result of being allone now, the blue one (Mr. Wedel) isnt shy any longer, and I found out, he has gotten bigger over the months I couldnt see him.
