I've had this nice Fantail for about 3 years now at my office. The tank is on the small side at 15gallons, but has been easy to maintain within proper levels.
About 3 days ago I noticed a two white spots, one near the base of the tail, the other above the eye. Today the spots are about dime size and cauliflower shaped. From all of the photos online I believe it is Lymphocistis,

I've added about 3 tablespoons of aquarium salt to see if that would give a little relief. It doesn't look like there are any other treatment options, any ideas?
