Starting Out

New to this, Have been running small tropical fishtank for some time and want to setup a new system with a sump tank. Can anyone point me in the right direction for books that show step by step guides of plumbing a tank with a sump etc. Have just got a secondhand tank with holes already drilled, see attached pics & have no idea what all the outlest (or inlets) are for. Please Help.

Just go on the internet and you can find alot of people who posted pictures on how to do it.

Yes it does help a little but i am having trouble relating what is on the back of the tank I have (in Pics) with what others are plumbing. Perhaps you might be able to explain which pipes are what on the back of my tank?

to be honest, i have no idea what powers a sump. all i know is what it does, and what size sump to use
