I am happy to see something can be used that doesn't have to be special ordered since I live in Tin-Buck-Two where absolutely nothing is available or comes delivered by horse and buggy.

i dont really bother with fertilizer.
I just bothered with the co2 system since i got it cheap. for me, good ol lighting works best

You're probably right and not having to be in fear of overdosing. I'm almost afraid to add anything for fear of an algae bloom. I SO DO NOT WANT TO GO THERE!!

i used to be a MAJOR chemical freak.

If i had cloudy water, i would add stupid clarifier like crazy, and not get to the root cause.

To me, same with plants. Instead of going full blast, im just going to continue to
see how just co2 and lighting works. so far, all the plants are healthy
