Plant profiles - request

Was reading through the plant species (profiles) and was a bit disappointed that no SIZE of the plant was listed that I saw.

Granted, there is the "placement" given, so that gives an idea of size, but an actual range would be helpful. Most of the other sites I've been to have that.

Just a thought. Seems a curious omission, considering all the details provided elsewhere in this forum.

i agree i will help with plant profiles if you need help i am now very obssed with planted tanks just look at my journal

When placement is given, it pretty much means the same as size. For instance, placement at the back of the tank means the plant will probably grow to the waters surface.

I can see how height would be helpful but i can also see where it'll just confuse people with some plants.

I've got plants in different tanks that grow vastly different.

In one tank it maxes out at 3in tall x 5in wide and another they're 6+ tall and 2 wide...
