View Full Version : bio cube lighting for any corals?

when i buy my bio cube setup for a reef is the lighting it comes with good enough for any corals or would you need to buy the upgrade 150 halide some people say that the power compacts would be fine and some say you would need halides is the nano bio cubes a good investment or is there anothere brand all i one out there close in price comparison

It all depends on what coral u want. Power compacts are good for all softies and most lps but only a select few sps.

I personaly hate all in one systems and would rather buy each individual piece seperate that way u get everything u want and u have more room

The lfs around me just got a new 28 gallon bio cube with led lights on it, cant remember the brand though, the same brand also puts out a 28 bio cube with the pc lights, the guy at the store said that the led fixture should blow away the pc's and should be able to keep any coral you want.
