ok i was at my cousins house yesterday and i pointed out that there was long wiggly things floating around in his tank. at first he stated that he just cleaned the tank earlyer so it might not be settled but when he looked he agreed they look like worms but im not too familer with them. they are about the size of bloodworms and dont have much color. does anyone have any idea what it could be.

How you fed any live foods? Maybe blackworms or tubifex worms.

squiggly little white thread-looking worms? it could be planaria or nematodes or something like that. it happens mostly from overfeeding and if you cut back on what you feed, and do a gravel vac, they will be gone soon enough. they will get eaten as well.
