Thanks. all my fish are on a special varied diet, and it really seems to help their coloration.

Dainichi XL and Ultima, home made frozen foods, freeze dried goodies straight out of Japan, and about 10 other types of good stuff. Lol

Ya know, with the price of fish food, that doesn't sound like a bad idea! I used to feed my Oscars little pieces of fish that I'd caught fishing. They seemed to like it.

I still feed mostly high quality dry foods. The home made stuff just makes up a small portion of the menu. I don't care how expensive fish food gets, I'm still buying it. My fish eat before I do. and if I only have enough money to feed one of us, I guess I'm not eating for a while. Lol.

I've fed my fish pieces of stuff I bring home from fishing trips too. Lots of white ocean fish. Usy we just share the bait though (MP)

I agree with ya, price really isn't an issue... I wanna keep my kids as healthy as I possibly can!
