How many is too many?

Lord help me. I am a full bore addict to aquariums. I was fine for a few years, but now the itch has its watery grasp on me. In addition to my existing aquariums, I am now planning a 38 gallon mollie tank (in response to my losing most of my mollies that I put in the 40 gallon) and a 55 gallon angel tank. I guess as long as I continue to take care of them and enjoy them, but holy heck. I CAN'T STOP! So what does that make me, an aqariaholic?

you can't have too many tanks. you're an aquaholic with mts.

Ive got the most MTS ever. I think the 33g severum tank will keep me busy enough

Its only too many if you start doing your weekly water changes and need to change the water in the first tank again before you get to the last one!

Dummy question--MTS means what...I'm guessing Multiple Tank Syndrome????

yep. Multiple tank syndrome. All your current tanks run fine, no disease, all equipment functioning, and you have a itch for more.

It happens less to people with bigger tanks since you can always add to bigger tanks like ornaments and plants

Okay, got it. You know, I used to have over 50 houseplants. Now my house is being invaded by aquariums. AND today we are going to the humane society to adopt our 3rd dog. I think I have lost my mind.

We have 4 dogs at the moment...ages 14 y, 10 y, and 2 at 1 y of age...

...and LOTS of birds...

In addition to 2 housecats and my snake and cockroaches...

...AND the aquariums...

Same thing with me. I have 5 tanks and want more.

I want a 15g for a shrimp tank.

I want a Lizard

I want a 120g for a Stingray tank or Community tank

I just set up a 65 gallon oscar/firemouth tank in addition to my 10 gallon tank (which will soon be upgraded to a 20 gallon).
