Hey everyone,
I've meant to ask this since I got my Dwarf Gourami. I'm wondering, is it
normal for them to swim at a slight angle most of the time? She's been doing it since I got her but, besides that she seems perfectly fit.
Thanks in advance!thumbs2:

All the time?
I have seen many fish swim like that but not all the time.
If its eating and pooping normally it should be fine but I would keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the reply, northernguy. I spent some time observing the Dwarf today and I realized that he doesn't swim at any angle as much as when he just hovers he tends to angle himself with his head slightly tilted upward or downward. This is in contrast to the Zebra Danio who seem to stay more or less "level". By this I mean they don't angle when they're idle nearly as much as the Gourami.
In this I should've asked, "Is it normal for Dwarf Gourami to angle when they sit idle?"
Sorry about the confusion and thanks in advance for any further answers.

Don't worry about it if it's just when it's sitting idle. :) All the ones I've had tilted when they were idle. Sometimes towards the light, sometimes to keep an eye on their tankmates, etc.
