Planaria are the little white worms that occur in tanks that have been over-fed, correct?
Just wondering why my 125g has them, there's no fish in it (doing a fishless cycle currently) I've never put food in the tank, and the glass hadf many many of these crawling around on it.. ehh?

They will live in the tank no matter what, they just become excessive with overfeeding. There is some sort of organic matter they are living off of. Nothing to worry about.

they've all been displaced by my magnet cleaner lol. I'm not worried about them, I just wasn't aware they occur so easily. thanks!
I had/have them in my 20g quarentine tank. It seemed that over night all the sudden there was a BILLION of them!
I emptied the water real low, then wiped the sides with paper towels. That seemed to do the trick. It is freaky though when they appear LOL

Dont worry, you are seeing them more because there are no fish to eat them. I see bugs and stuff more often in my shrimp tanks for the same reason, no threats.

They are apparently tasty treats for the fish!I wouldn't worry about it.
When you do eventually add fish the planaria will/should dissappear.
