Mollie the puppy && Angel the chicken

Okay, well Angel is in "indoor" chicken during the day, always has been. Since I got my new puppy, Mollie a few days ago, Angel has been trying her hardest to make 'friends' and 'play' with Mollie, to be honest, Mollie has the terrior instinct && would rather bite her then have a play-date :/

That is so cute. Never heard of someone having an indoor chicken.

Thats going to be difficult but its not impossible. You may have to use a muzzle and a lot of correcting until she learns that angel isn't food.
Good luck and keep at it.Cool bird Demi!

Love it! They are both too cute. Love the chick, do you know what breed she is?

So cute!!! But I shouldn't be looking... We've been contemplating getting chickens and your posts of Angel are making me want some even more!!!!

The lady we got our shih-tzu babies from is a friend and a vet but she lives in another state. When we were getting Watson (first one), I noticed she had chickens everywhere including some of those silky (fluffy looking) ones. I loved them and told her how much I liked her chickens. She told her helpers to go grab some boxes (she was going to send us home with some!). We didn't take her up on it but....

I can think of valid pros and cons about us getting chickens (help to control parasites but also would attract predators to the property), but it's pictures like yours that push the envelope because they're so cute!!!
