Hello! Its my first post I would like to introduce myself. My name is William from Atlanta Ga. I have a 55 gal tank. I am thinking about adding a new fish to my tank. Right now I have 2 bala sharks 6 mickey mouse Platy, 2 plecos, and 1 betta siamese fighting fish any suggestion would great.

hello and welcome to ac. you may want to rethink about getting more fish or possibly think about getting rid of the balas as they, from my understanding, can get pretty big.
what kind of plecos do you have?

Hello and welcome aboard. Bala's are very hard swimmers, grow to around 8-10 inches and generally require more than a 55 gallon. Your betta may or not not work out, as well. Some are just meant to live alone either due to their own behavior or of others nipping at them........like barbs.

i somewhat agree with hobbs about the betta. i have a female in my 55 with all different kinds of fish (check my profile) and she just keeps to herself and doesn't seem to care about anyone else in there. i had a male in there once too but that was a little bit diffent of a story with him. just something for you to consider.
