We have 5 bettas in our 60l planted tank, all seperated except for one who we assumed was a male, as had done amazing bubble nests growing up. (these guys are about 5mths old and we bred them) But yesterday after we found Blueray under the nest, and I saw these eggs coming out! so our boy's a girl LOL, and does the best nests to rival any of our males!(blush)

Yep, I couldn't believe it myself and thought maybe they'd come out of the container holding the female closest to the nest, but then I saw more coming out of Blueray, which he/she quickly ate, I don't suppose anyone else has ever come across this?

LOL Good one Pele, I wonder what will happen to a male if we every try, might be a race to see who can make the best bubble nest!thumbs2:
