Shrimps :)

Any tank setting where you shouldn't have shrimp?

I'm thinking they would be great at helping keep my community tank clean but do they play well with others? Are others a threat to them?

(60g community tank with tetras,cory cats, angels, danios, etc)

Our LFS just added 90 Cherry shrimp to a tank full of angels. A day later when I went to buy one, they couldn't find more then half a dozen (who were in rough shape). When they move the driftwood to look for them any shrimp that chose to swim were instantly ripped apart. I wouldn't recommend putting any shrimp in with Angelfish.

I m going to try it today.... LOL I want the shrimp badly.... LOL and if my angel eats it OhHH WELLL atleast he got a nice treat.....

If the fish in question can fit it's mouth around a shrimp, then it's a no. This means most fish won't be able to go with cherry shrimp/ghost shrimp. Most can go with amano shrimp though, or the larger filter feeding variety.
