finally fish!

well my tank has finished cycling and plopped a couple fish in there and they were doing great, swimming around, eating, etc.however, upon waking up this morning i noticed they were hiding behind some very this vegetation in the corner of the tank ( theyre virtually unnoticeable). is this normal behavior for fish when first introduced to the tank, will they become more confident once they get accommodated to their surroundings?

It is totally normal for some types of fish to act that way when they are new to a tank.

Yes, it's normal for them to hide until they feel safe and secure. It's good to have lots of hiding places for them so they can relax and not be stressed. Congrats on the new fish!
