This is a personality test, it was proffesionally made. Most personality tests are stupid and never true but this on is dead on. I took it and I was and ENTP. It was exactly correct. Just look ENTP up and you can read about my personality:22: .lol any way my question is has anyone taken it? If so what are you?

I am an INTJ...which holds very much true to my persona I think. INTJs are probably the rarest of the 16 personality types I think we only account for around 3% of the population. The personality type is trademarked by a very strong sense of independance, a lack of understanding or approval for social pathways and the perception of authority based on tradional means, ranks or specific titles of another person. The personality type is also dominated by a strong sense of creativitiy and the need to express ones self. People of this type also dont need the approval of others, we are well aware of our own faults as well as our strong points. Finally against the stereotype of gender, the persona wins out...not very emotional, and would rather react to logic and perception than feelings.

But yes the Myers-Briggs is probably the best personality test available. Honestly most professions only fault with it is that it his highly dependant on the person's truthful responses and it has a somewhat low reliability....which is probably dependant on the person re-taking the test being in a different mood or mindframe than before. The test is also argueably vague, but as said it is probably the best look at a person's personality. Now this simple questionare will never give you a true look at a persons true and full personality it does offer a glimpse at how that person operates tho :22:

I'm also INTJ, like Jenn. But I'm only slightly shifted towards everything except the "T", where I'm moderately shifted. Depending on my mood when I answer the questions I can easily switch from "I" to "E". Whether I'm introvert or extrovert highly depends on the situation. Put me in a room where I know no one and I'll talk to everyone. Put me in a room where I know a couple of people and I'll probably stick to talking with them. I know it's odd but that's how I am. Most people who meet me think I'm an extrovert.

My political views are very much the same way, I'm about right smack in the middle when it comes to that. Some issues I'm conservative, others I'm very liberal.

huh, me too. I always knew i was "special" :hmm3grin2orange:

Scarier part is that the career indicator hit me dead on. Turns out i and in the right line of work for my type. The interesting thing is that the other areas listed are the ones my schooling is in :)

I was never sure which I was until somebody told me that supposedly the way you can tell is whether you get your energy from being alone or being around people. So, I have lots of friends and family whom I love and I love to spend time with them, but being around people will eventually drain my energy and I NEED alone time to recharge -- making me an introvert. Apparently some people are the other way around, and those are the extroverts. I have no idea how accurate that is, but it made sense to me.

That's interesting. I guess for me it depends on the individual people I'm around. I do need alone time, but if I have too much then I miss being around people. I think I'm more introvert with the above criteria. I much prefer staying home vs. going out clubbing.

My personality type seems to vary a little over the years -- I assume it's a matter of maturing, getting to know myself better, and what sort of circumstances I'm in at the time that may influence my answers. For now, though, I'm an ISTJ, which sounds fair enough. I'm big on the down-to-earth and old-fashioned stuff, which they talk about in the description a fair bit. Sounds like I'm in good company, too: Queen Elizabeth II, Harry S. Truman, Warren Buffet, Queen Victoria, James K. Polk, and J.D. Rockefeller.

lol you are basicly the opposite of me, as an ENTP we are basically the inventors of the world. Thomas Edison was thought to be one. From personal experience in inventing guns (lol not for deadly use) I build them without knowing anything about them. It just a natural ability just like eating or drinking. My good friend is an INFJ, only 1% of the population is this, but we get along perfectly well. ENTP's love to argue, this is why I tend to state my opinion a lot about fishkeeping and argue a lot about stuff. Not because im trying to be mean but because im just like that.

This is copied from the internets ENTP profile....
ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this.

This is very true, I hold no respect for people who do terrible things like disrespect, drugs, treat others the wrong way just because they are a little differant, or show off their tickets for getting in a wreck and hurting someone.
By unintelligent it doesnt mean not book smart it means people who dont care about their life and go around hurting others and disrespecting them.

Another copy from the internets profile.
In terms of their relationships with others, ENTPs are capable of bonding very closely and, initially, suddenly, with their loved ones.

This is also true, I very much love, respect, and care for my loved ones.

Also titles of people dont mean to much to me. If we have a president who does bad things and breaks the laws of the Constitution. I will not call him Mr.President in the public, I will call him by his first name. As Mr, or Mrs, is a form of respect and unrespectable people do not deserve it.
Please do not think im rude I just dont think bad people should be respected. And yes all you AC people are great!!!

I am an introvert because after being in public especially large groups I must come home and unwind alone, I also feel somewhat "dirty" also being in extremely crowded places. Im totally fine with a larger group of my friends or people that I personally know, I then become quite extroverted. I also dont have the need to chum up with co-workers or classmates. I had class with some older women who IMO behaved as schoool children, one of them wouldnt even go to the bathroom unless the whole pack went with them. lol
